The Cape Bentonite Mine is continuously conducting rehabilitation of previously mined areas.

Mining and Rehabilitation.  Open pit bench mining is practiced.  No blasting is necessary.
Top soil and overburden is stripped by means of free loading.  Rehabilitation is done simultaneously with mining. Mining is done in-house.  

We contribute to several tree replanting programs in the area and we are continuously seeking new ways
to improve our environmental responsibility.
